Welcome to Dott Holidays Egyptian Wonders tour, Cairo is the capital and largest city of Egypt, being home to more than 10 million people. The Greater Cairo metropolitan area is one of the largest in the world by population with over 22.1 million people. The Giza pyramid complex and the ancient cities of Memphis and Heliopolis are near-by. Located near the Nile Delta, Cairo was founded by the Fatimid dynasty in 969. Cairo has since become a longstanding centre of political and cultural life, and is titled "The city of a thousand minarets" for its preponderance of Islamic architecture. Cairo's historic center was awarded World Heritage Site status in 1979. Full day tour of Alexandria [B, L & D]
Today after early breakfast at hotel, we proceed to day tour of Alexandria. It is the 2nd largest city in Egypt. It lies at the western edge of the Nile River delta. Founded in 331 BC by Alexander the Great. Alexandria is called the "Bride of the Mediterranean" and "Pearl of the Mediterranean Coast" internationally, and it is a popular tourist destination and an important industrial center due to its natural gas and oil pipelines from Suez. Visit various sightseeings in Alexandria, It was home to a lighthouse ranking among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World as well as a storied library. Today the library is reincarnated in the disc-shaped, ultramodern Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Visit the Catacombs of Kom-el-Shoqafa, drive pass Pompey's Pillar and photo stop at Qait bay citadel. Visit Papyrus Institute and Perfumery. Transfer back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (B, L, D)
Fly to Aswan-Board Nile Cruise [PB, PL& D]
Proceed to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Aswan is a city in Southern Egypt, and is the capital of the Aswan Governorate. It contains significant archaeological sites like the Philae temple complex, on Agilkia Island near the landmark Aswan Dam. Philae’s ruins include the columned Temple of Isis, dating to the 4th century B.C. Visit the temple of Philae and the High Dam. Visit Egyptian Cotton outlet. We drive to the Cruise center to board the luxurious Nile River Cruise. Enjoy packed breakfast and lunch and Dinner in Nile cruise, Overnight stay in Nile River cruise. Visit the Abu Simbel Temples [PB, L & D]
Today early morning (04:30A.M.) Proceed to Abu Simbel by road. Abu Simbel is a historic site comprising two massive rock-cut temples in the village of Abu Simbel, Aswan Governorate, Upper Egypt, near the border with Sudan. The Abu Simbel temple was constructed as a place for people to worship Pharaoh Ramses II as a god following his death, as well as to be a show of power toward the recently conquered territory of Nubia. The most notable feature of the Abu Simbel temple are the four colossal statues of Ramses II on the outside. Visit the temple of Abu Simbel - A UNESCO world heritage site. Return to Aswan and Sail to Kom Ombo. Evening, Visit the famous 'Temple of Two Gods' - dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris by walk. Packed Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at Cruise. Overnight on board the River Nile Cruise .
Sail to Edfu [B, L & D]
Early morning at 4:30 or 5:00 am, We will proceed to Edfu. Edfu city, located on the west bank of the Nile River between Esna and Aswan, It is the site of the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus and an ancient settlement, About 5 km south of Edfu are remains of ancient pyramids. The temple was built in the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BC. The inscriptions on its walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Hellenistic period in Egypt. Visit Edfu temple dedicated to God Horus by Horse carriages or bus. Enjoy Nile River from the deck, as your Nile Cruise sails to Luxor via the Esna Lock. Evening, Proceed to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples if time permits. Otherwise, we will cover both Karnak and Luxor temples next day along with Luxor sightseeing. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at Cruise. Overnight on board the River Nile cruise.
Luxor City tour- Fly to Cairo [B, L & D]
Today, after breakfast at Nile cruise, check out and proceed to Luxor Day tour. Luxor is a city in Upper Egypt, famous for its rich ancient history and cultural heritage, particularly as the site of the ancient city of Thebes. It's known for its impressive temple complexes like Karnak and Luxor Temple, as well as the West Bank Theban Necropolis, including the Valley of the Kings. The city is also a major tourist destination, with thousands of visitors annually drawn to its historical sites. Visit the West bank: Visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon. Enjoy shopping at Luxor Souq. After city tour of Luxor, we will proceed to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo. On arrival at Cairo, check in hotel and relax. Breakfast at Cruise, Indian lunch at Luxor Overnight in Cairo . (Dinner will be at either Luxor or Cairo as per flight timings)

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, commonly known as the Egyptian Museum, located in Cairo, houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. It houses over 120,000 items, with a representative amount on display. The museum exhibited collections ranges from pre-historic era to the Greco Roman period.
